I really loved this book! After reading the reviews I wasn't sure whether i should buy it, but I did anyways, and I don't regret that I did! Everything is described nicely, pictures are beautiful, of course to cook everything the way it should be, you may need a couple of days to prepare the ingredients and equipment, but I'm sure it'll be worth it! I am very happy that he describes how to do the glazes (and has recipes for them), though I am not sure I completely understand, but I'll be working on it :) As soon as I cook smth, i will share my result here. I recommend this book very much, though not every recipe could be easily done at home.. --Oksana
If you do not have access to the ingredients and molds , the book will not be useful to you , unless you want to spend a lot of money. Then , the technical skill is very high to recreate the formulas. That being said, beautiful book, well thought out guide to make the desserts . Very Happy with my purchase. Have not been able to play with due the Shut down of normal production in the restaurant I work at. --Cajun Corn
Wonderful book amazing what he can do with food. I found that a lot of the recipes however are very similar to one another once you understand how he makes one fruit dessert the rest of them simply are a matter of quantities that one could easily figure out on their own. Still glad I bought it. Do not expect this book to walk you through every step is some beginner books to this is definitely for the experienced cook --Joshua Greig
