I have followed Ali on Potuck Video for years and was very excited to buy a compilation of some of her favorite recipes!!! They are simple to follow, have easily procurable ingredients, appeal to all ages and are delicious! With today’s busy lifestyles, hosts or hostesses are often very happy to have guests bring something to a dinner party!! The recipes in Ali’s book are ideal for a stand alone appetizer or dessert or a complement to the main course!! I’ve taken two appetizers and a dessert from the cookbook to parties and they were well received!! So much so, that the guests wanted to buy a copy of the cookbook!! The photographs, personal anecdotes and suggestions for transporting and serving the items make this cookbook a must have!!-All quenn of tarts
This is wonderful cookbook - easy to follow recipes that are both visually appealing and delicious. One of the best features of the book is that recipes are accompanied with a section on "how to bring it" - so often you cook a dish to take to a party and it looks perfect when you put it together at your home but doesn't travel well. This book helps you cook beautiful, tasty dishes and then explains how to show off the dishes in their best light when you actually arrive at your destination.-Tara Gadgil
This is a really special cookbook. The writing is excellent, the images are gorgeous and the recipes are delicious! The cookbook features a huge collection of easy to make recipes and instructions that all result in wonderful dishes. I've been using the cookbook for a couple of weeks and love the results. I highly recommend this book regardless of whether you are an experiences chef or a novice in the kitchen! -Adam
