If you are looking for something different AND delicious, this cookbook won't disappoint. When I first looked at the recipes, I thought there were at least several that I would try to make. I was also curious to learn more about some of unusual ingredients (there are lots of old favorites, too), but now that I have made dozens of the dishes, I can honestly say that this is one of my most loved cookbooks. I have given several of them to my friends as gifts. Not only have I discovered a lot of new recipes, I have learned so much about the ingredients in them. The Green Tea Noodles with Edamame are so tasty and great for a meatless Monday kind of meal, but you can always add chicken or shrimp if you want to add more protein. I also love the Prune and Walnut Bars. They have become a go-to favorite to make for parties because they are not too sweet but taste like a very indulgent dessert. I could rave about so many more of the dishes, but it's worth trying them for yourself. To top it all off, each of the recipes help fight the diseases of aging -- from wrinkles to heart disease and more-- and each recipe has a description of the ingredients and their benefits. --Babbo
ANTI-AGING COOKBOOK OFFERS AN ADVENTURE IN FLAVORSYummy! This cookbook is amazing. The recipes are so interesting that they have opened my eyes to a lot of new foods as well as showing me how to combine typical ingredients in new and unusual ways. Grace O’s MEATLOAF WITH FLAXSEEDS takes one of my top comfort foods to new heights. You have to try it to believe it. She also manages to deliver a delicious mix of dishes with Asian, Indian, and American influences, while introducing us to an array of beneficial ingredients. I had never tasted Jackfruit or even heard of it before I bought this cookbook. It’s a mild tropical fruit that is great for your skin and is really loaded with antioxidants. Grace O’s SWEET POTATO AND JACKFRUIT DELIGHT is an impressive and truly original dessert. --Cupat
I am trying to add healthy food to my diet. I found the Age Gracefully cookbook on the FoodTrients website. The Shrimp and Moringa Curry dish is excellent. I love curry but since of my family does not care for curry, I made half the dish with curry and half without. We all loved it. We also loved the Spice Rack of Lamb. The seasonings are perfect. The Papaya Salsa has been a winner with our weekend friends. Next I am trying a Pear and Apple tart for a dinner party. The pictures are exceptional. I like the explanations on the FoodTrients and the icons with each recipe. The recipes are easy to read. --Pat
