About the Author
Wylie Dufresne was the chef at the celebrated 71 Clinton Fresh Food, and then at the groundbreaking restaurant, wd~50, where he earned countless accolades including a Michelin star and a James Beard Award for Best Chef: New York. He was recently inducted into the James Beard Foundation’s list of “Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America.” Dufresne has appeared on multiple Bravo and Food Network series and has been parodied on both Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons.
Great book to look for inspiration! Beautiful recipes and plating! Very simple to follow recipes as you will find explanation for every step, every ingredient and way to prep it! Can learn lot of things from this book - how to prepare some special dishes and techniques how to do it in best way.-Curly Dave
O.K. Yes, there are special things needed for a number of recipes - BUT - the simplicity of execution is amazing. I have several books which are impossible to follow for the home cook and this is far more approachable than other New York restaurant cookbooks. -KR
