The Violet Bakery Cookbook

The Violet Bakery Cookbook

A plan forward cookbook for sweet and appetizing prepared products from London's well known Violet Bakery that centers around quality fixings, regularity, and taste (instead of science) as the keys to making fulfilling, magnificent natively constructed baked goods, tarts, desserts, and that's only the tip of the iceberg.

Violet is a gem box of a cake shop and bistro in Hackney, east London. The preparing is finished with basic fixings including entire grain flours, less refined sugars, and the normal pleasantness and nuanced shades of regular organic products. Everything is made in an open kitchen for individuals to see. Celebrated for its lovely prepared merchandise, Violet has become a goal.
Proprietor Claire Ptak utilizes her Californian reasonableness to make plans that are both supporting and liberal. With a cautious eye to taste and utilizing the most perfect fixings, she has made the most delightful cycles of exemplary cakes, just as new treats for present day palates. More than 100 plans incorporate feeding morning meals, noontime snacks, sweets to share, organic product jam, and polished festival cakes.
This book is tied in with making preparing justified, despite all the trouble: easy to cook and fulfilling to eat.

I really really love this cookbook. I have made quite a few recipes from it (apricot upside down cake, brownies, blondies, madeleines, banana bread, egg yolk cookies, etc.) and have found them all to be delicious. Each baked good I have made feels unique and high quality. It is a beautiful book and my go-to when I want to make a special, crowd-pleasing dessert. I am glad weights are included along with volumes; I think this is the reason my results have always been successful. Lovely book: tasty recipes, delicate and sweet photography, all-around amazing.-Natt
I love this book! There is great story behind the journey of Claire Ptak and the making of Violet Bakery! I learned about Claire and the bakery after the royal wedding and boy am I glad I did. I've learned a lot about the importance of picking and using the best ingredients from reading this book. I'm glad Claire has a background from Chez Panisse because her experiences there and afterward, shared with me, makes me a better baker!-Bibliophile
I am SO HAPPY, delighted, and inspired by this book! I was a little hesitant to purchase this but I am SO glad that I did and I have tried a recipe that I never would have tried. It has taken my baking to a new level :) -Travel Jess
