Longings: Hungry for More takes us further into Chrissy's kitchen . . . furthermore, life.
It's an existence of hotcakes that help you to remember blueberry pie, eating onion plunge with your glitz crew, banana bread that breaks the web, and a touch of something many refer to as Pad Thai Carbonara. Following two years of parenthood, going gaga for various flavors, and relearning the mending intensity of solace food, this book resembles Chrissy's new eatable journal:

• plans for snappy as-a-snap suppers (Pan-Seared Fish with Herby Browned Butter; JalapeƱo Parmesan-Crusted Grilled Cheese)
• plans for lighter, more splendid, more beneficial ish living (Roasted Carrot and Avocado Salad with Lime Dressing; Vegetable Noodles with Parm and Basil)
• plans that, well, are going to take care of you, holding your tummy (Skillet Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Blondies; Sleepytime Stew and Cream Cheese Smashed Potatoes)

And these flavorful dinners will have you hungry for additional.
About the Author
Chrissy Teigen is known as many things—cover model, television personality, star of Instagram and Twitter—but her real passion is food. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two children, and three dogs.
This is a great book and Chrissy is an awesome recipe creator. Off the top of my head, I’ve made the clam chowder, garlic soy ribs, banana bread, and coconut chicken. I had actually been meaning to make clam chowder for a while, and prior to buying the book, I saw the recipe on an Instagram photo and pathetically zoomed in and made it. No regrets. I’ve only tried a handful of recipes, and they all turned out very well, but our absolute favorite is the coconut chicken and the delicious dipping sauce.
I could eat that sauce for breakfast! The banana bread was great. The clam chowder will be my go-to recipe; the clam juice addition made it taste fresh and cut the heaviness. The garlic soy ribs were good. The OG Cravings was such a success that it’s impossible to follow. When you’re making a cookbook, especially your first, you want to put all of your best recipes in there (at least, I’d imagine). I feel like the OG Cravings is a more classic, authentic cookbook that is absolutely a kitchen must-have. I found the first cookbook more creative and motivating. I feel like there are a lot more steak, fish, and hard-to-find and/or expensive ingredients in here. The recipes may be a bit more sophisticated in general. However, paired with those recipes are some recipes that seem a bit like filler. Two nachos recipes, multiple grilled cheese recipes...you get the point.-Hannah
I loooooove Chrissy's cooking. She is incredibly talented at creating foods that are out of this world. Her first book is a kitchen must have. This second book is also very good, but it has some recipes thrown in there that seem odd and unnecessary (nachos and hobo dinner??). Such a creative writer and chef, I just personally dont care for simple recipes that make it into cookbooks, they seem like page fillers.-Beartales
Bought this soon after receiving her first book. I haven't used a cook book anywhere near as much as this one. I love her recipes! They are super easy and straightforward to make and I haven't had a bad one yet. I really love her family style, soul food cooking, not to mention amazing humour. Regardless of what you think of this social media goddess, if you love amazing home cooking, this book is amazing! -Kattie Bowling
