About the Author
Bronte Aurell is a Danish entrepreneur, restauranteur and cook. Together with her Swedish husband Jonas, she runs the acclaimed ScandiKitchen Cafe and shop in central London.

She began her career in food with Innocent smoothies, before moving on to run her own company. A keen cook herself, Bronte has been published widely in national magazines and newspapers, including The Guardian, The Times, Sunday Express, Olive, Hello, the Evening Standard’s ES Magazine. Bronte and her food have also featured on BBC Radio, Channel 4 and Danish TV. She lives in London with Jonas and their two young daughters. 

Bought a signed copy directly from the author's little shop and have ordered two to give away as Christmas presents as this book is just wonderful. As a Dane myself I love all the recipes and being able to make Scandi cakes the right way. The small anecdotes explaining each chapter is priceless. Love this book. Lots of different yummy bakes. So much to bake, so little time. I looked at other books by the same lady and there is another one. However it looks like there are a lot of recipes repeated from this one which is very annoying. This is my favourite book at the moment. Great book with lots of fantastic recipes. The half moon cake, cinnamon buns, Christmas pancakes, Sarah Bernhardt cakes it just goes on and on. Brilliant for anybody enjoying Scandinavian cakes and treats.
