About the Author
Georgina Fuggle is a young chef and food stylist who has trained at Leith's, worked for Green & Black's and been a Senior Food Editor. She grew up helping her father with his vegetable patch and now runs several pop-up restaurants called Hart & Fuggle with her friend Alice Hart. Her first book for Kyle Books was Take One Pot. I’m not vegetarian, but I love vegetables and often they feature as the main course. This book was a steal as a 99p ebook and it’s very well set out, user friendly with plenty of hyperlinks to move from section to section.There’s an interesting introduction followed by sections with recipes featuring a veg type including Roots, Onions, Beans, Mushrooms, Cabbages and more. I’ve tried the mushroom and Stilton gougère, basically a chorus pastry base filled with scrumptious saucy mix. It’s delicious and even more so if you’re lucky enough to be able to collect wild field mushrooms. Just browsing through the book is mouthwatering and there are so many tips and ideas. It’s colourful, with colour photos throughout and the recipes are easy to follow. An excellent addition to any collection. --Vicuna
Top marks from me. I have many veg cook books, this one is outstanding. Straightforward recipes, quite different ideas. Refreshingly new, from courgette chocolate cake, to pea mozzarella & lemon tart. Lovely pictures, clear instructions. Will be buying more as presents. --Fairyface
