These are the best two cookbooks. If you can only have two it should be these. We make recipes out of here every week. Everything we have made has been incredible!-Alexa gurney
This was a big surprise to receive this in the mail. My family is in the middle of a coast-to-coast move and all of my beloved cookbooks are in storage, because we could not anticipate the ongoing COVID-19 quarantine. I have previously purchased these exact books in hardback versions... even going as far as to order them from the UK specifically because of the beautiful and simple lemon cover and the metric weights (the hard cover edition are different where I live in the US). Then this incredible box set came at the perfect moment and brought me tears of joy. It was something small that gave me a sense of normalcy during these uncertain times. Even better, my mom who we currently staying with has all of the other Ottolenghi books - except for these - so I am able to make recipes with her and create some memories along the way. Definitely try the Butternut squash with sweetcorn salsa, feta and pumpkin seeds. It's simple (as the book states) and a nice, but healthy, salad. I received a free copy of this set from Ten Speed Press in exchange for my free and unbiased review. Thank you, Ten Speed Press for providing some sense of normalcy that has brought me an immense amount of joy.-Ehmuhlee
I really enjoy Ottolenghi's style of cooking and use of Middle eastern spices in easy dishes. I highly recommend this book. -Torrontonian
