I am so excited to finally have this book! I have all of the Cooking Light Fresh Food Fast series, but the last one came out several years ago and the older ones feel a little dated, so I was eagerly waiting for this book to come out. This book is much like the others in the series, with easy to follow, quick recipes and ingredients. Most of the recipes utilize shortcuts, like microwavable rice or quinoa, but if you don't like microwavable grains you can easily make those things the old fashioned way. There are a lot of pictures, though not for every recipe. I hope this book means Cooking Light is reviving this series! --AD
I had the 2009 version of the Fresh Food Fast cookbook and it has always been my "go to" cookbook for low calorie, low cholesterol but fresh ingredient cooking. I was looking for a cookbook that was more in keeping with the current food trends and the shift toward eating fewer carbs and this is it! Gorgeous pictures to accompany most of the recipes make it a feast for the eyes and gave me a thrill with every turn of the page! I'm so thankful Cooking Light kept this wonderful series going! I highly recommend this cookbook. --Sharon M.
